Students Set Vihiga Boys Dormitory Ablaze

A huge fire has destroyed a dormitory at Vihiga Boys High School.

Vihiga County Commander Benjamin Ong'ombe confirmed the incident that disrupted learning at the school on Friday morning.

Firefighters rushed to the scene to assist in putting out the fire but the cause of the fire was not immediately known. "We will get more information after the fire is contained and investigation is done," the County Commander told the press.

The school administration reports that a similar attempt yesternight was thwarted.

A substantial amount of students property is said to have been consumed before the inferno was contained.
