Social Media User Sparks Huge Debate Online After Suggesting That Men Should Carry Emergency Tampons For Women
Newsroom Updated 1 min read
Twitter user Charles Gachango sparked a huge debate online after a tweet he posted went viral on the social media platform, attracting all sorts of reactions.
In his Monday afternoon tweet, Gachango suggested that men start a challenge where they make sure they keep some emergency tampons in their bags, houses and cars in case they meet a lady who needs them.
The post was met by huge ridicule as members of KOT flew down the replies section like a swarm of bees; each with a strong opinion of their own on the matter.
Despite some responses which many regarded as distasteful, Gachango maintains that the purpose of his tweet was to start a conversation on “how men view menstruation and everything around it”. Please. I am not trying to be picked. I am not into Women why would I want them to pick me? I am trying to have a conversation about how you men view menstruation and everything around it.
