Will the incidences of flouting of the Kenya law on the part that speaks about Occupational Safety and Health Act, No. 15 of 2007 (Revised 2010), which among other things states that workplaces must be ‘maintained in a condition that is safe and without risks to health and provide necessary means of access to egress (outlet) from it that are safe and without risks to health’, just pass as a fad for the officials and wankers at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection?
Wankers indeed, only planning on what next to steal aided by the Central Organization of Trade Unions (COTU).
Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, you have now been notified, start investigations. Mbwa nyinyi. The managing director Tushar Shah (pictured above) was early this year charged with assaulting a female employee Norah Kavindu Mutisya for allegedly being a non-performer.
The incident took place in September, 2018 at their offices located off Nairobi’s Mombasa Road.
What Kenyans have now come to know is that For Kenyans working with Indians, it is 1619 everyday. Kenyans are enslaved in those sweat shop, death traps in Industrial Area Nairobi.
Workers are treated like animals, no rights whatsoever.
The leadership in this country lacks vision beyond their stomach, they care less about the rest of the wanannchi. And that’s why slave drivers like Shah of Safepak and Sanjay of Blowplast Limited are thriving in this slave market economy.
Kenyans, Safepak workers are crying our for help
‘Please help Safepak Limited workers. We work under hot Environments, with little pay. We work for long working hours without breakfast. We are not allowed to carry our own breakfast. We eat leftovers during nightshift and can’t carry even blue band to spread on the damn bread; and if got with one you are suspended for one month instantly’, wrote on of the workers.
Is this how Kenyans want to continue living and working?
Revolutions are painful, there are deaths and job losses.
Now that almost everyone is tasting job losses despite acting like sheep being mistreated and not raising a voice, what will you Kenyans do?
