Six bodies mysteriously found dumped in Tsavo National Park
Newsroom Updated 1 min read
On Tuesday, Tsavo National Park rangers on a routine patrol encountered an unusual smell and on checking, they found six decomposing bodies just a kilometre from the main Nairobi-Mombasa highway.
The bodies were all naked and had no form of identification on them.
The rangers then alerted officers from the Mtito Andei Police Station who later came to the scene and gave a report that the six men of Somali origin were likely to have been murdered and dumped inside the park.
The bodies were moved to Makindu Hospital mortuary where a postmortem examination is set to be conducted and an identification process conducted.
Makueni County Commissioner Mohammed Maalim has called on anyone with relatives to report to the mortuary as an inquest file was opened.
