Shut up you Corrupt Idiot , Kazungu Kambi Told
Newsroom Updated 1 min read
Suspended Labour cabinet secretary Kazungu Kambi has been criticised for meddling in Kaloleni politics and allegedly abusing other leaders at funerals in the constituency. Area MP Gunga Mwinga says he defeated the embattled CS facing corruption investigations and misuse of office in the open during the last general elections and instead of “flaunting his wealth around, he should shut up and wait for 2017”. Speaking over the phone, Gunga wondered why Kambi found it necessary to lambast him during funeral ceremonies. “Even if he is bitter that I defeated him in broad daylight in 2017 without bribing voters, he must respect the people’s verdict and allow me to complete my term and that is the time I will be judged,” he said. Kambi has been quoted criticising the MP’s development record in the constituency and the unfinished CDF projects, which he himself left behind without completing them. Gunga says it is not for Kambi to judge his development record. That work, he says, belongs to voters who will audit him at the end of his five year term. The Kadu Asili MP said his leadership is focused and aimed at improving the people’s living standards unlike his predecessors including Kambi whose impact was not felt. Gunga welcomed them to the political arena but cautioned them against engaging in early campaigns.
