SHOCKING: KPL's Top Scorer Allan Wanga Dropped From Kenya's AFCON Squad
Newsroom Updated 1 min read
This afternoon, Harambee Stars' Head Coach Sebastian Migne named his 27-man Africa Cup of Nation's (AFCON) squad that will later be trimmed to a final 23 before flying off to Egypt for the tournament. There was, however, a huge public uproar over a few missing names on the list, including this season's Kenya Premier League's top scorer Allan Wanga who scored 18 goals for Kakamega Homeboyz.
Others who were dropped from the squad that's about to depart for a 19 day training camp in France include AFC Leopards' Whyvonne Isuza, Paul Were and Kariobangi Sharks' Brian Bwire.
Migne's decision didn't seem to go down very well with Kenyan football fans with quite a number of them giving him some harsh words.
