Sylvia Mulinge, Safaricom’s Chief Customer Officer
Theft at Safaricom has been going up. In this company, the rot stinks to high heaven. Even the bosses are involved in aiding theft of data.
Come on, we know Safaricom aided the data misuse in 2017 elections and continues to share our data with politicians, betting companies and other lowlifes who have bombarded us with unsolicited messages.
Over the years, hundreds of employees of Safaricom were Sacked for being involved in fraud.
In the past, the specific cases took the shape of accounting fraud, asset misappropriation and bribery.
These days, customer information is sold to criminals who in turn fleece the client of theirs and their relatives money.
A man has written to the chief editor of this site has saying that his line was recently replaced by a stranger through safaricom customer care.
This rendered his original line inactive and in the process he lost nearly Ksh120K that was in his M-PESA account.
This is due to safaricom negligence. ALSO READ : Cartel Networks: Safaricom Deteriorating Since Bob Collymore Died
