RUTO'S OPTIONS NARROWED AS OBAMA ADMINISTRATION REFUSES TO CONFIRM IF HE'LL MEET OBAMA
Newsroom Updated 2 min read
On Friday, the World's most powerful man will land in Kenya. I the much anticipated Visit, a list of individuals( Both in the public and Private sector ) who have been blacklisted from meeting him is still circulating and doing the rounds on social media .
According to My sources, it has not been confirmed whether Deputy president William Ruto will meet Obama or Not .
Some Guys within Jubilee are working on a formula to save Ruto. Some have Suggested that he flies out of the country a day before Obama Arrives to save him from Embarrassment
The cold fact is that the fate of Deputy President William Ruto hangs in the balance as embassy sources say the Obama administration is not keen in meeting Ruto over the ongoing ICC case at The Hague, Netherlands. When US secretary of state John Kerry visited Kenya last month, during his three-day stay, he met a number of people, including Uhuru and opposition leaders led by Raila Odinga but Ruto, no. Sources say the matter has since become a diplomatic nightmare for the deputy president who has of late led the anti-gay campaigns. It is noteworthy that Obama on the other hand is leading the pro-gay campaigns.
When President Uhuru was asked about this issue, he insisted that Ruto must Meet Obama but you know things will not go Kenya's way but the USA way .
