Recently residents through social media have raised issues over certain powerful lady (Lydia Khaemba) who is the second wife to the sitting Governor on how she's interfering with county affairs right from the procurement department, Public Service Board and women Sacco.
The slayqueen has been able to arm twist workers to sing her tune. She controls whose tender can be paid and who not to at the finance office.
The same lady controls Public Service Board and has forced employment of her relatives and tribesmen inside the county government most from Uasin Gishu County.
On women Sacco she has managed to milk the Sacco dry by issuing illegal payments, cash withdrawals etc.
During 2017 Campaigns Lydia Khaemba summoned some contractors. They had a deal, the deal was to support Governor Khaemba and later they were to supply air and they got paid.
They were to pay by a blank cheque to avoid any suspicion.
