[RIP] Photos - Patrick Hinga Wanjiru, The Reformed Drug Addict Breathes His Last

Patrick Hinga Wanjiru, the former drug addict who was rescued by his friend Faith Wanja Nganga has passed on.

'With deep sorrow I want to inform you that Hinga has rested. He passed on this morning. I don't have the strength to say much right now. R.I.P my friend,' Faith posted on her Facebook page. Ms. Wanja says that Hinga died after complaining of stomachache which started on Thursday and persisted till his death on Saturday.

Faith touched the hearts of many Kenyans, last year, when she took her drug addicted friend from the streets, cleaned him up, fed him and put him in a rehab.

Subsequent pictures showed the reformed Hinga healthy and stable.
