Just to alert you that the money found at Barclay's Queensway Branch are legit cash.
The safe deposit box belongs to former CS Rashid Achesa.
The box was registered in 2018 and he has been operating it since then. He frequent the bank and request for the box to be opened. Sometimes he comes with other bags and empty them in the box.
The figure in question is 17 Billion and not 2 Billion that will be reported by media. The staff has been helping DCI official count the cash since 11am.
Staff at Barclay's has been warned against speaking about the issue in public.
