Photos: A Standard 6 Pupil Perishes In An Abandoned Quarry In Katani, Machakos County

A standard six child has died after drowning in an abandoned quarry in Katani Mulolongo sub county, Machakos County.

This comes even after this site exposed the dangers that the sand and stone harvesters are posing to residents if the area less than two weeks ago.

The National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) officials didn't take any action, they only wait to receive bribes from Indians operating toxic-emitting-factories in Nairobi0's industrial area.

These quarries has brought untold suffering to us. The county government of Machakos and the NEMA officials have been totally compromised This is the pool where the child perished and those are people on search mission the body has been retrieved and taken to mortuary by police.
