An unhappy parent of St Peters Boys' Primary School in Mumias has written to CNYAKUNDI.COM citing an anomalous increment in school fees.
According to the parent, their children came back home for the holidays with circulars indicating the shocking fee structure for the coming year for which they were not consulted. Caption: 2019 fee structure for St Peter's Boys' Primary School With the new rates, some parents will end up paying up to Ksh. 57,000 for that year which they feel is an additional burden considering the recent high cost of living.
The parent is now calling on the government to look into the matter as he feels parents are being extorted by the school.
