The case challenges the directive on constitutional grounds, with petitioners arguing that it infringes teachers’ freedom of expression and imposes broad restrictions beyond what is necessary to protect confidentiality and professional conduct.

The court has allowed the case to proceed while temporarily halting enforcement of the disputed restrictions.
