Not So Fast: Kenyan reminds Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua of his pathetic tenure as government spokesman

Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua was left nursing virtual injuries after a social media user publicly shredded him following his tweet where he called for a “generational change” in African politics.
In his post, Mutua urged African leaders who have been in power for decades to pass on the button to the younger generation and not to wait for the embarassment of being forcefully pushed out like the Sudanese did to Omar al-Bashir.

Daily Nation columnist Gabriel Oguda stopped the governor in his tracks and reminded him that his record as government spokesman was characterized by “pinhole sycophantism and shameless propaganda”.
Adding that during one time, he denied that Kenyans were dying of hunger yet it was an obvious fact.

A lot of Kenyans seemed to agree with Mr. Oguda with some dropping their memories of Mutua's tenure in the replies section.
