'NHIF Refused To Cater For Our Treatment', Man Narrates Heartbreaking Incident

The below is the perfect example on how National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) steals from the poor to fund the rich.

A few weeks ago, the Members of the National Assembly Health Committee accused NHIF of funding the treatment of rich Kenyans even in flimsy grounds.

The MPs also found out that NHIF has unofficial contracts with hospitals abroad, who in turn bloat the costs of treatment and the loot is shared by the board.

The private hospitals in the country also enjoy this diabolic alliance with NHIF. One aim is to loot the funds through expensive treatment or pumped up costs.

The government doesn’t want to make public hospitals better because people are eating from the current melee of a situation.

Here below, a Kenyans shares their experience on how the NHIF is a waste of time as currently constituted.

The board, led by Ms. Hannah Muriithi is eating like never before, they are compensating for the years when Geofrey Mwangi was eating with DP Ruto.

By the way, Geofrey Mwangi was fired for corruption related issues but the board curiously survived. NHIF IS A JOKE Hello Mr. Nyakundi,

I am writing to request you help me exit from being deducted NHIF money, I have been paying NHIF since 1998 but never gone to hospital. Recently my wife went to hospital and was told all the services she needed were not covered by NHIF.

A week later I also went to Kenyatta National Hospital having dental problems; when I presented my NHIF card they asked me if I am a civil servant, to which I replied in the negative, that's when I was told I can't use the card.

So Mr. Nyakundi, am requesting you help me and many other Kenya who are deducted NHIF to get the services we deserve.
