NCIC SHOWS MOSES KURIA THE MIDDLE FINGER OVER HIS HATESPEECH CASE
Newsroom Updated 1 min read
National Cohesion and Integration commission has has withdrawn from the conciliation process due to lack of co-operation from Moses Kuria. According to a statement read by the chair Francis Ole Kaparo, the commission insisted that Moses Kuria has not shown the conciliation efforts especially on social media where he is known to be notorious. “While the conciliation process has been in progress, Kuria has continued to post material on his social media accounts that in the opinion of the commission may cause disharmony and are in contradiction to the spirit of conciliation,” he said. Mr Kuria has hatespeech charges hanging on his head since last year . Many Kenyans have also condemned the fact that he was given a chance for conciliation yet other people who have been accused of the same crimes have never been given the opportunity . A Good example is Wadi who was jailed for two years for undermining the presidency leading to a social media outrage over the manner in which hatespeech cases are handled
