National Oil Corporation of Kenya Fires 20 Managers Over Fraud
Newsroom Updated 1 min read
The scandal-ridden National Oil Corporation of Kenya has fired 20 managers over fraud, sources privy to the happenings at the corporation have intimated to us. A few days ago, we exposed a big scam overseen by the arrogant CEO Maryjane Mwangi who the Directorate of Criminal Investigations and Directorate of Public Prosecutions have refused to probe, arrest and charge over corruption at the corporations despite mountains of evidence. President Uhuru declared war on corruption and even urged the DPP and DCI to act failure to do so, whistleblowers should send the dossiers to civil society and media. The National oil sagas have been ignored by all the accountability institutions.
Further reports have confirmed to us that the CEO has been compromising the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission to cover up for the scandals at the corporation, something that must be thoroughly probed.
Senior National Oil managers have been looting the corporation. Many of them have shell companies they use to do businesses with the corporation, which is against the law. Monies have hidden in offshore accounts as the asset recovery agency is already compromised.
We have confirmed that the suspension of the managers is attributed to the loss of millions of litres of fuel at the Mombasa depot. The managers are taking the bullet for the corrupt senior management nincompoops
