Nairobi - expressway construction workers cry foul

Hi Nyakundi!

I'm (Name withheld) and I work with Chinese constructing Expressway at Mombasa road, Airtel.

We are suffering under the supervisor Herman, a Congolese, and Human Resources manager.

They are dismissing workers at own will, sometimes for no apparent reason.

We are really suffering.

This month, Sh30k will be deducted from my salary of Sh35k. Many colleagues have resigned due to this evil.

We have complained several times to our HR manager but he keeps telling us that Herman is a son of a Congolese Cabinet Minister and that his hands are tied.

The Chinese don't even care as long as work continues.

Please highlight our issues; inform relevant authorities.

Those who try to speak have bee sacked, we are hopeless.
