Charles Mudiwa, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Stanbic Bank of Kenya
Our mole at Stanbic Bank of Kenya (SBK) has informed us that the new CEO Charles Mudiwa from Zimbabwe is intent on restructuring the Kenyan branch operations and has already fired some staff.
Some departments have seen all the employees replaced.
For example, the Direct Sales Team (DST), a department that employs many youths, has been disbanded.
The entire ICT department has been replaced.
The current management at SBK had learnt how to 'eat' from the banks coffers by conducting trainings at Kempinsky Hotel and flying to South Africa (HQ) for meetings. The new fiery CEO has terminated this
He prefers meeting be conducted via video link.
He is said to be about cutting costs.
Meanwhile, senile Isaiah Kubai and The Banking, Insurance Finance Union of Kenya (BIFU) are doing nothing.
