Story · More Unemployment As Stanbic Bank of Kenya Restructures

Charles Mudiwa, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Stanbic Bank of Kenya

Our mole at Stanbic Bank of Kenya (SBK) has informed us that the new CEO Charles Mudiwa from Zimbabwe is intent on restructuring the Kenyan branch operations and has already fired some staff.

Some departments have seen all the employees replaced.

For example, the Direct Sales Team (DST), a department that employs many youths, has been disbanded.

He prefers meeting be conducted via video link.

He is said to be about cutting costs.
