Mohammed Ali Faces Backlash From Social Media Users After Requesting For Their Votes
Newsroom Updated 1 min read
Nyali Member of Parliament Mohammed Ali was o the receiving end after social media users dismissed his request for votes in the "Wanjiku Best Representative Award 2018". The award is meant to recognize legislators working hard in parliament and effectively representing the common Kenyan as well as commissioning meaningful development projects in their areas.
As soon as Mohammed sent the post, Kenyans in the comments section almost skinned him alive with the majority accusing him of being a traitor and putting his selfish needs ahead of his people. The former celebrated investigative journalist has been struggling to impress the public lately and even went ahead and released an "expose" which Kenyans quickly dismissed as simply hot air.
His close relationship to arguably the most disliked man in Kenya is something that has attracted a lot of criticism.
