Mark Mbua may be cremated according to his wishes, we can report.

Yesterday, we reported that the former captain of the Mombasa Golf Club succumbed to coronavirus-related complications on Sunday morning.

All managers at Mitchel Cotts Mombasa have been sent for 14 days quarantine after having had meetings with Mark Mbua for the last 2 weeks.

Reports indicated he might have been exposed when playing golf with the Kilifi Deputy Governor, now in police custody. Mbua had no travel history.

Mark Mbua, 51, died at 5 am at the Coast General Hospital where he had been in isolation undergoing medical treatment, according to reports.

Mbua was the general manager in charge of terminals for logistics at Moi-Owned Mitchell Cotts. He went to the hospital on Monday, March 30.
