Newsroom Updated 1 min read
The formation of the new party Jubilee Alliance Party has raised eyebrows within the Jubilee alliance political Kitchen. According to sources, many leaders have raised concerns that by forming the new party, they will be playing into CORD's hands.
There are murmurs from those in the URP party side who have questioned why the merger had to come after Uhuru's case was dropped due to lack of sufficient evidence. Isaac Rutto has condemned the new party saying that it is against the political parties act.
Some political players from URP side have raised serious concern that in case Ruto's case becomes turbulent they may be shortchanged because it has no power sharing formula. This is because the Kikuyu voting block has opportunists are the community cannot support one of their own.
Kericho senator Charles Keter and David Murathe have been blamed for misleading President Uhuru and Ruto into duping them to create a new party yet there are issues especially from small parties that have not been solved.
