There is this clique of Equity Bank employees based in Siaya Branch who give out customers' account details to anyone. How can a bank employee give info on a customer's account balance and transactions to any person other than the customer?

All that these rogue staff need is the ID number and your info is shared with whoever it is who wants to know.

This 'cartel' also includes some former senior staff from Siaya branch who have moved to other branches, as they simply ask for your ID and go ahead to give the info. Si system ni ile ile tu even if they've been transferred to Mombasa, Nakuru or wherever?

I don't work in a bank, but I know that it's extremely unethical to give customers' account details to anyone other than themselves!
