Markchris Wairura Kagiri: the suspect in the laptop stealing racket
The DCI has asked Nairobians who have lost their laptops to go to their offices in Kiambu.
This was after they traced a stolen Mac book to a shop at Kimathi House in Nairobi on Friday evening.
In a tweet on Saturday, Kinoti said they have arrested one suspect.
Cases of stolen laptops have been on the rise. Most of the laptops are stolen during meetings held in hotels. Last year, four faces behind stolen laptops were uncovered in Nairobi.
They were nabbed for stealing laptops from unsuspecting people who attend meetings.
They included; Isaiah Aluodo Belek (Siaya county), Amisi Eric Joseph (Vihiga), George Mwanhi Maina (Murang'a) and Keving Njagi Kariuki (Kirinyaga). Some of the recovered laptops
