Thank you for the good work you are doing in the fight against corruption.
We appreciate very much the way you put the corruption at KPLC in the limelight.
There is another area of corruption that would like to highlight in regards to the multi-millions tender for supply of fuel to KPLC and Kengen. We have insider information that the awarding of the tender for supply of fuels was done fraudulently through corruption between KenolKobil CEO David Ohana and senior procurement officers in KPLC and Kengen.
The CEO is a known master of corruption and tax evasion. These tenders need to be scrutinized as this is one of the many areas where the public has been fleeced of millions of money. In some KPLC off-grid sites even the pump prices are lower than the prices to KPLC, simply because money changed hands! No wonder National Oil was never awarded despite a circular from the head of the civil service recommending dealing with government institutions.
The insider staff says there was regular communication between the CEO David Ohana and KPLC staff during the post-tender period to Sway the tender results in favour of KenolKobil. This can be verified from his communications using his cell phone number 0733-636/0706-777, around the period after tendering.
We trust your good office will thoroughly look at this. We are working on massive tax fraud from this CEO and will share with you soon.
Regards
