KRA Corruption: Commissioner Mburu Accused Of Favouring A Person From His Tribe For A Job

The Kenya Revenue Authority is under the spotlight again for denying a person from the minority tribes a job. As exposed yesterday, KRA is a den of corruption and tribalism that has hampered tax collection since many KRA officials collude with cartels to loot, evade taxes and game the system. Today, If many KRA senior managers are asked to justify the source of their wealth, many will hide because they cant. State-House Joker Uhuru Kenyatta once stated that he would commence a lifestyle audit but dropped the plan after realizing that many people from his backyard would lose out. KRA Commissioner General John Njiraini bought immunity by campaigning for Jubilee and dishing out billions to the party for 2017 elections hence cannot be held to account for the rot that has made the KRA a fake authority where jobs are given based on your tribe.

Your article on KRA is very true boss. Recently I went through three interviews for a position of a chief Manager which they advertised for only to be told by a panellist that I was the best but commissioner Mburu had a preference for an internal person who was from his community.

The question is why didn't they source internally instead of subjecting us to the process of sindikishaing mtu wao.

All those adverts for positions they put in papers are a hoax as they have their people.
