Kisii University On The Spot For Non-Refund Of Graduates' Money
Newsroom Updated 1 min read
Following our request for information on mismanagement at Kenyan Universities, we've received some information about Kisii University.
Former students are accusing the management of non-payment of their caution money amounting to millions of shillings.
The former student who wished to remain anonymous sent us the following information:
Hi Nyakundi,
I was a student at kisii university. I graduated last year but until now they have not refunded our caution money.
It may sound a small issue given the amounts you expose in your channel but if you multiply Kshs. 2000 by Kshs. 5000 graduands its a big figure.
What they did is make us sign clearance forms, then they told us to photocopy our ATMs in pretence that they were to deposit the money in our bank accounts.
However, since then no money has ever been deposited.
Our social media complains have yielded nothing kindly expose the management.
