Kibra member of National Assembly Kenneth Okoth has died.
The MP was rushed to Nairobi Hospital following complications (multiple organ failure) arising from his cancer treatment.
Mr. Okoth has been suffering from colorectal cancer which was at the time of diagnosis in advanced stages.
In March this year, rumors spread that the MP who was then receiving his treatment in France has died.
Okoth refuted those claims by posting on his Twitter account that he was receiving treatment. "Napambana na hali yangu kabisa. Chemo drugs brutal on the skin and immunity system. #CancerAwareness #WeShallOvercome" ~@okothkenneth
Kenyans were moved.
Most went on social media to wish him quick recovery.
