KENYA, WE HAVE A PROBLEM. Kindness is Killing us
Newsroom Updated 2 min read
As Suggested one year ago in this Blog, Police Reforms will never succeed in this country. Any effort to implement the much awaited police reforms will be an exercise of futility. The Fact that a traffic officer who killed Margaret Njeri has not been arrested raises serious questions about our security.
The Traffic officer will never be arrested. He is gone. At least one police officer was honest to admit that. Imagine a government that taps our calls, scans our emails and monitors us with impunity has failed to arrest an officer who intentionally murdered a young ambitious lady Watching Margaret Njeri's Mother shedding tears and hoping beyond all hope that the person who murdered her daughter will be nailed was tragic. In fact, after the officer committed the heinous act, he was transferred to protect him.
Yet the Idiots in our security docket act like they care. In a nutshell, Njeri had to die for them to see that this case is serious . If they valued her, Officer Tonui would have been arrested when she was admitted at hospital undergoing several surgeries that amounted to almost 2.5 Million.
Okay. So here are the Cold Facts. If they had the courage to transfer officer Tonui after he hit Njeri with a gun - breaking her skull, then they definitely have the courage to hide and protect him with impunity . These Idiots should also face the law for promoting impunity . It is not fair even before Satan. We are a country of Idiots . Police Reforms were good on paper !!
