Journalist Car Plunges Into Cheploch Gorge In Kabarnet

[ad_1] Another journalist has been reported missing hours after his vehicle plunged into a deep gorge in Kabarnet. The salon car is said to have veered off the road as it was approaching the Kerio River bridge at around 11 PM yesternight.

It then rolled several times before landing inside the gorge that is adjacent to the Cheploch river that borders Baringo and Elgeyo Marakwet counties.

The number of occupants of the car is yet to be established.

Police who arrived at the scene shortly after midnight spent the better part of the wee hours trying to retrieve the vehicle.

They could not do much as darkness hampered their operations but the exercise has since resumed.
