How Police work with criminals in Kisumu

Kisumu areas like Kondele, Carwash and Manyatta are notorious with criminal gangs being funded by MPs, MCAs and other businessmen.

This issue has very deep roots that nobody is free to talk about it.

For example in Carwash stage there's one Roberto who takes money from matatus every evening, all Matatus plying that route must give him 50 for protection or you face the music.

In Kondele there are fellows by the name Reuben and Adinga. These individuals take money from matatu conductors by force, in fact, if you dare report them to the nearby Kondele Police station, you dip yourself into hot soup. They will be free in the next 5 minutes but your business must come to an end.

Cases of impunity in Corner Mbuta are rampant. People beaten as police watch. Corner Mbaya and Sije are notorious as well and there is always no help from the Police because they work with these criminals.

Kisumu bus park is a place of open stealing, at the bus stand.

Politicians awarded themselves parking slots to forcefully take money from Matatu owners.

Kisumu version of Criminal gangs is the worst.
