On 30th April 2018 NBK unfairly terminated 24 staff members.
The case involving the 24 was on PIP(performance improvement plan) and the sad part is that they were fired yet they had not signed any targets nor given any scorecard.
Out of the 24 who were fired 4 got private lawyers when they realized that BIFU was not progressing their case and surprisingly they were all awarded compensations with the courts yet the 20 who could not afford own lawyers are still being harassed by the bank to pay up the loans they have and the bank has even hired private debt collectors to torment every day with calls that they will be soon auctioning their properties including their homes!
4 years later, Isaiah Kubai has not found any reason to help these members. Why had they been paying 600 every month as union members?
