"Mudavadi is not your political equal." Mudavadi Camp to Alfred Mutua. The war of words that erupted between Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua and Amani Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi after the former accused the latter of copying his ideas has escalated.

In a clip that went viral on social media, Mutua claimed that Mudavadi had been copying his ideas and owning them warning the Amani leader to be original or join the Mutua bandwagon.

Mutua who thinks throwing around a few sheng words will get him elected said the country needs leaders who are innovative and not ones who copy other leaders’ ideas.

“Musalia Mudavadi stop copying me, please get your own ideas, when I was announcing my candidature that I'm running for president I said Kenya needs a safe pair of hands, a few days later nikaona unasema Kenya needs a safe pair of hands , copying me,” He said.

“Did Mutua patent “Sheng”? Can he tell Kenyans when he did so and under which Intellectual Property law. Which Act gives Mutua the intellectual ownership of “sheng?” They posed. Butere Member of Parliament Tindi Mwale weighed in on the matter warning Mutua that Mudavadi is not his political equal and shouldn’t even respond to his claims.
