Fraudulent: Looming Corruption At Kenya Pipeline Company Insurance Tender

Dear Mr. Cyprian Nyakundi,

I would like to expose looming corruption at Kenya Pipeline Corporation. Please find attached a copy of my complaint which I reported to the following investigative agencies:- EACC DCI ODPP PPOA COMPETITION AUTHORITY OF KENYA ( CAK ). In brief, it is a Kshs. 200 Million business which they CRIMINALLY intend to favor the following 5 Insurance firms. Zamara Risk Insurance Brokers. Liason Insurance Brokers. Sedwick Insurance Brokers Eagle Africa Insurance Brokers Minet Insurance Brokers Out of 200 licensed insurance brokerage firms in Kenya, only the above named firms qualifies to have attained mandatory Kshs. 500 Million per annum turnover in the immediate previous 3 years ( i.e 2018, 2017, 2016 ). The intention is to limit the competition as much as possible. The current MD is called Maureen Mwenje and we can only conclude that she has a personal interest in this tender. Through our umbrella body AIBK we formally requested that the Kshs. 500 million threshold to be reviewed downwards to Kshs. 200 Million. KPC is highly infested with corruption and unfair market competitive rules imposed to lock out competent firms.

Also note other parastals like KENGEN, KPLC, KPA etc. with significantly larger asset base than KPC accommodates ( through their mandatory requirements ) as many firms as possible.
