Story · Fraudulent Land Transactions That Raises Eyebrows At The New KCC

Nixon Sigey, Managing Director New KCC

The Kenya Co-operative Creameries or New KCC is a company that should be performing but it isn’t.

From mismanagement of funds, now we have fraudulent land dealings by the management.

Hi Nyakundi,

On that case for New KCC, I would like to request you to investigate on the land owned by New KCC next to their head office.

This land is about half an acre  and they have leased the land to one Joseph Kimani Maina at a rate of  Kshs.10k  per month and named the place as Indaa park.

This guy has gone and built a permanent structure and subleted it.

Joseph Kimani Maina is also notorious in Industrial area police station with numerous cases of how he mishandles his tenants.

The issue is the land should be charged at a market rate and not Kshs. 10k.

Secondly, building of a permanent structure is not allowed? This is tantamount to grabbing.

How was the land leased out? Was the due process followed?
