Former IEBC Commissioner Dr Roselyn Akombe Confirms That Kenyan Elections Are Rigged
Newsroom Updated 1 min read
Dr Roselyn Akombe has seemingly sent an indirect message to Kenyans regarding the fairity of the country's elections.
In a tweet made on Sunday morning, Akombe, while replying to Martha Karua, said that she didn't blame her African brothers and sisters for electing corrupt leaders, because they simply don't do it themselves.
Roselyn's tweet suggests that elections in Kenya and Africa in general aren't free and fair, and that the corrupt politicians that end up in power get there against the people's will through the manipulation of the electoral process.
Coming from someone who previously worked at Kenya's electoral commission, those might be words with a deeper meaning meant for Kenyans following the controversial 2017 general elections.
