Flying coffins: Passengers stranded as Fly 540 aircraft fails to take off

Cnyakundi.com has covered the serious mechanical issues that Fly540 aircrafts have.  Instead of tackling them, the company keeps sending demand letters.

This is one of those issues. What happened to that plane?

We booked with fly540 to Lodwar from JKIA today. We were to fly at 0100HRS to Lodwar - they announced a 1 Hour delay which we waited... We waited till 5 PM they communicated to us that the flight won't go to Lodwar. We asked why they said there's a mechanical problem.

As for me, the company takes care of the clients if such cases arise - they told us we take care of ourselves - they won't accommodate us - Sisi twende , we come to Wilson.

We paid for a one-way ticket at a cost of 23,080/= for 2 customers.

We stranded here at JKIA.

What's the company policy on cancellation/flight fault?
