This is a painful account, a cry by a parent of Terige Boys High School based in Nandi County.
Hi Cyprian,
I’m a concerned parent of Terige boys high school in Nandi county.
My problem is at this point in time parents are struggling with the effects Coronavirus, but the principal goes ahead and changes the school uniform and demand every child should report to school with Sh8,500 for a new uniform.
As I’m writing, children have been sent home to bring the money.
My question is, why now?
What’s the hurry to change the uniform when some parents are struggling to get school fees?
Kindly let this information get to the ministry of education, especially the CS Prof. Magoha, because this is not the first time the principal is doing the same.
Last year but one, we were forced to buy shorts.
Kindly hide my identity.
