Kenya Power and Lighting  Company (KPLC) staff are running an extortion ring as the information below shows.

There is a syndicate involving rogue Kenya Power employees and CONMEN all over the country.

It starts like a normal call from 0722625271.The caller identifies himself as an engineer from KPLC.He has all your names and knows where you stay,including your land's Tittle Deed number.

The person goes ahead to tell you that your piece of land has been identified by KPLC for installation of a transformer.

He requests for your email in order to send LEASE FORM for you to sign,scan and send back to onseria.kplc@gmail.com.

The signed agreement states that one has agreed to grant KPLC authority to construct a transformer on his /her land for a period of 10 years.The person shall be paid Kshs. 2,960,00 for way leave. The person has to pay sh.49,100 in order for KPLC to connect a three phase line to the site (if not connected ) .Benefits include being given a special metre where one will not pay electricity bill for 10 years.

After signing the contract and sending back, another caller from 0207851792 calls to confirm that all is ok but the only hitch is that one is to pay the short.49,100 (if not already connected ) or sh.14,000( if already connected to single phase ) This money is to send to 0722625271 via MPESA.

Funny enough the signed form is in the KPLC system but the company says it's fake.Who did it? How did it enters the company system?
