We have serious health sector issues in this Kenya.

Cancer is a national crisis, a disaster for which the government has decided to bury its neck deep in the sand.

Here below, we got some information concerning the mis-treatment of cancer patients at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) in Eldoret. Good morning Cyprian, Kindly keep my identity hidden to avoid my patient being victimized.

I have a kidney patient who comes for dialysis at MTRH twice a week.

Patients usually arrive by 6 a.m., since the machines are few and the patients are wat too many.

My problem, however, is not the number of machines but the service.

Patients are forced to wait for over an hour while standing.

No seats have been provided for these patients.

No set time has been put in place to ensure that patients are attended to well.

We've tried to reach the CEO on this issue, but we haven't been successful.

Kindly highlight this issue for us.

Thank you. CNYAKUNDI.COM calls on the CEO of MTRH, Dr. Wilson K. Aruasa to attend to patients need. Provide these patients with a conducive environment for treatment.
