Students of the University of Nairobi (UoN) have been decrying the lack of results many semesters after doing exams.

The history, Linguistics departments according to the students WhatsApp chats, as seen by the editor of this site, are the most notorious.

Sociology department with its huge number of students per class is said to the best, since despite the big number of students, results always comes in faster.

'We receive our results a month after sociology exams. As for the other departments especially history and linguistics, the results can delay even up to three subsequent semesters', a student wrote.

These raises questions as to whether the departments are understaffed.

The new VC should work on making the University more efficient.
