Newsroom Updated 1 min read
TIATY MP WILLIAM KAMKET clashed with Energy cabinet secretary Charles Keter at Silale Geothermal site.
The legislator accused the minister and Geothermal Development Company (GDC) Managing Director Johnson Nchoe of 'secretly' visiting the Constituency without involving the local leadership.
Keter who was in the company of the house Committee on Energy, had paid a visit to the site where the GDC is carrying out exploration of sites for harnessing steam energy.
Earlier in the day before the clash, Kamket together with Baringo Woman Representative Gladwell Cheruiyot and the area MCAs were in Chemolingot for a youth peace meeting.
The CS is seen pleading with the MP to clm down, bu the MP could hear none of it.
'Let us walk together so you see what I have come to see', Keter pleaded
Keter tried to defend himself that it is the first time that he has visited the area and didnt know the protocol.
'You have been an MP for many years, you know these things'.
