Emgwen Constituency On The Spotlight For Misuse Of CDF Funds

According to a resident who contacted this site's editor, the office has been faking the allocation of funds to different sports teams in various wards for the past 5 financial years. Upon digging into the matter, he found out that they had been channeling public funds into several bank accounts where they would later withdraw everything.
When our source made an attempt to access the public funds portal at the Emgwen CDF offices, the fund manager kept turning him away saying that the funds from the previous years which couldn't be accounted for would be included in the next financial year.
He then took up responsibility and reported the matter to the police but no action whatsoever has been taken since then despite the constituency embezzling an average of Ksh. 1.5 million every financial year with fake pledges to sports teams.
