EMBEZZLEMENT OF NSSF PARKING SILO FEES
Newsroom Updated 2 min read
I regularly park at the NSSF parking silo at Community, but there is embezzlement of the parking fees collected either by individuals, KAPS parking, Hatari Security Services, NSSF management or in collusion. Once you enter the parking area you have to get a parking card to enable you to access the silo which will be used to bill you as you exit. On the picture the first is PAYMENT FOR PARKING receipt, the parking duration is indicated and the parking card is validated after payment to enable you exit once you scan it at the barrier. On the 2nd and 3rd COLLECTION RECEIPT as is noted,,, the parking card is inserted to give an invoice but it is not validated, they just print the receipts as per the invoice and issue to you but retain the Parking Card, so for you to exit the security man has to open the exit barrier manually. This means they have collected money from parking but did not declare meaning it is embezzled. They also unscrupulously issue long-term parking cards for monthly, tri-annual bi-annual or annual to unsuspecting motorists without VAT and don't declare to KAPS and issue those Collection Receipts. This is outright daylight theft with regards to NSSF being a public entity which is entrusted in managing and investing our retirement benefits. Regards
