Detectives raided Ambira High School today in order to probe students that bragged in a video that went viral online that they had cheated in the national exams. DCI boss Michael Baraza told the press they had questioned a number of the school including the principal, security personnel and students that had pending exams.
“It is now clear the entire episode took place within the school precincts. Our investigators are still there getting finer details of the happenings,” he said on Friday, November 23 at 3 pm.
In the video, the excited students dressed in uniform are backdropped by a bonfire lit using books. Police said the students orchestrated the episode within the school compound, a video we first shared on Facebook revealed.
