Three people have bee arrested following the death of Star journalist Eric Oloo.
Area OCPD Ibrahim Muchuma said the three are in police custody as investigations into the killing commence.
Muchuma confirmed that Oloo was found dead at the house of Inspector Sabina Kerubo who is the Deputy OCS at Ugunja police station in Siaya county. Ugunja OCPD Ibrahim Muchuma
“The three suspects were in the said house at the time of the murder,” he said.
According to him, Oloo’s body had three deep cuts on the head.
The house now marked as a crime scene is just a few metres behind the police station.
Oloo and Kerubo had been cohabiting as husband and wife for a while now.
Neighbours who spoke to the Star said Oloo had suspected that Kerubo was dating another man.
“Two weeks ago, he went to confront the said man in an unknown location where he was beaten up,” the neighbour said.
