DCI Detectives Arrest Nine Suspects Over Insecurity In Maseno University

The office of the DCI has this morning confirmed that their detectives pounced on nine suspects yesterday who are believed to be behind a series of of robbery with violence and gang rape cases around Maseno University.
The suspects arrested thanks to a tip off from members of the public were: Patrick Okanda, Peter Amango Sande, Geoffrey Okiya Mutunga, Obed Panyako, Peter Obed, David Ndegu, Samuel Kuya, Stephen Oloo and Nahashon Arena.
The detectives also found several stolen items, bhang, machetes and claw bars which were all confiscated.
The nine suspects are currently in lawful custody as they await arraignment in court. Other suspects managed to escape but are currently being pursued by the detectives.
