CAPTION: Facebook user Purity Oronyi - She narrated the sad ordeal she went through at Bei Yetu Supermarket Shock waves rang through Bei Yetu Supermarket on Sunday after one of the customers at the Ndumbuini-based retail outlet received a hot slap from the store's owner who accused her of shoplifting.
In a long post shared on social media, Purity Onyiri narrated the ordeal she went through trying to explain to the furious owner that the situation was only a misunderstanding.
According to her, the item which they accused her of stealing had actually been bought elsewhere and then accidentally carried inside the supermarket by her young cousin who was new to the area and was not aware of the rule that such things should be left outside.
She even attempted to incur the cost of the grave mistake and offered to pay off for the said item but the Bei Yetu Supermarket owner still could not have any of it.
He insisted that she should return all her goods to the shelves.
It was in that heat of the moment that the argument turned fully physical.
The infatuated guy gave her a hot slap on the face and forced her to walk out of the supermarket in humiliation.
