This is how Airtel sim card is set and anyone with your ID number can steal from your Airtel money without a struggle. 1 DIAL 222# 2 SELECT OPTION 6 (MY ACCOUNT) 3 SELECT OPTION 1(RESET PIN IF YOU FORGOTTEN) 4 IT WILL ASK YOU PUT YOUR ID NUMBER 5 IT WILL ASK YOU TO PUT YOUR NEW PIN 6 IT WILL ASK YOU TO RE ENTER THE PIN 7 THAT’S IT This happened to me on 1st December 2018 where I was drugged in a bar in Hurlingham and they took my ID to change my password for Airtel money and stole Ksh. 7,000 which I tried to follow up with Airtel customer care but in vain.
This is to be in public so that we can make the Airtel company responsible of this misfortune and let them loose customers if its not addressed and rectified!
